Please give a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations.

Yes. Between the hours of 10:00am – 2:00pm an SPF of at least 25 protecting against both UVA and UVB rays is recommended.
All of PCA SKIN® Moisturizing Sunscreen products have been approved and are recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Although it is not necessary to do a series of treatments, the best results will be achieved after 6-8 treatments, preferably spaced 14-21 days apart. Single treatments are available and most clients do see visible results. The results are not always apparent to the naked eye, since exfoliation occurs at a cellular level.
PCA SKIN® professional treatments are formulated to lighten, brighten and tone the skin. Visible results differ with each person, just as the conditions of the skin prior to treatment.

A Microdermabrasion is an advanced facial treatment that uses either a hand piece embedded with diamond chips or crystals such as sodium bicarbonate or aluminum oxide to abrade & exfoliate the skin. This treatment can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring and hyperpigmentation.

With superficial peels most people only flake and experience very little discomfort. This usually occurs within 24-72 hours post treatment. A consultation is always performed prior to performing any treatment to determine if a peel is appropriate for the skin type & condition.

After you have filled out a client intake form, you will be asked to undress to your level of comfort. Disposable underwear and/or privacy towels are provided to ensure you are not exposed. Your body will be lightly exfoliated with a dry body brush while you are resting upon the plastic covered esthetic table. Warm mud will be applied over most of your body, excluding your face, neck, hands and feet. You will then be snugly wrapped in plastic and Mylar foil designed to retain heat. Arms can be left outside of the cocoon, if preferred. You will be wrapped for 20-30 minutes, before the mud is removed with hot towels, and your treated areas are finished with a moisturizing lotion or body butter.

Every 4-6 weeks is recommended. However, it really depends on the condition of the skin as to the frequency of treatments needed to achieve the desired results. A good home care routine with quality products also plays an important role in maintaining beautiful skin. After careful evaluation, I make customized recommendations on a specific facial, how often to repeat treatment and which home care products are needed to ensure my clients reach their goals.
